Obsidian Mine: Couldn't put it down This is one of those books you can't put down. At least I couldn't.

Obsidian Mine: An intriguing paranormal romance full of adventure and characters you can't help but cheer for. I enjoyed reading Karen Bailey's debut novel. I am an avid reader and after the first couple of chapters I was invested in Jennifer's year long crusade to return the Rashwa children to their respective families. The story captivated me and I recommend this book to readers who appreciate strong heroines, paranormal romance, adventure and beautifully crafted characters that you can't help but cheer for. I am looking forward to learning more about the hidden realm of Vampires and Were-creatures in future novels by the author. Thank you Karen Bailey for introducing me to some of the characters who inhabit this fantasy realm. I received this book for free and this is my honest review.

Obsidian Mine: Different in a good way This was surprisingly good. In the beginning it was hard to get into but as the story goes on things start to make a bit of sense. I liked the hidden realms and the fact that not is all that it appears to be. I found this to be a quick read once the story picked up, but I did enjoy it. The only problem I had was that it was told in multiple persons point of view. I like a dual-pov, but not more than that.I received a free copy of this book via AuthorsXP & author and I am voluntarily leaving this review.

Obsidian Mine: This book has everything a fantasy or paranormal reader wants Vampires, were-people, hidden realms, tension between the residents of the hidden realm and the real world: All of this and more can be found in Obsidian Mine. I received this book for free and voluntarily reviewed.Follow Jennifer and her sister Grace's efforts to return children who were kidnapped from the hidden realm to their parents with their father's henchmen in hot pursuit at every turn. Along the way, Jennifer falls in love with a stranger who helps her recover from injuries she suffered during an accient. Along the way, the reader discovers more and more about who and what is hidden, even when it appears everything is visible. Even the author's writing style contributes to the symbolism of the hidden realm as the story is told from multiple first-person narrators.

Obsidian Mine: Exciting Jennifer was asleep and awoken by her mother. Jennifer needed to escape with the stolen children as her father has went crazy and wanted to kill the children. Her mother would stay behind to protect their escape. That's the exciting beginning of this paranormal story that includes vampires and were-creatures. One of those special children is Kyle, the son of the King of Vampires Nevar and he will do anything to get him back. An on the edge of your seat read.I received a free copy of book via AuthorsXP & author and I am voluntarily leaving this review.
